TRANSFORMATION

This week, I learned the different changes that occurs to us during the stage of adolescence. The changes that we have tackled are the physical changes, emotional changes and intellectual changes. Before we proceed to this topic, we first discuss on how these changes start and we learned that it starts with the hypothalamus because it is the one that sends the messages that are received by the pituitary gland and this gland is the one that orders the other glands that they need to produce the hormones and will lead to the changes of a person. By the way there are two kinds of hormones according to the gender of a person. The girl produces follicle stimulating hormones of (FSH) and Lutenizing Hormones or (LH) for the boys. Physical changes are changes that can easily be observed by looking to a person's body. The physical changes that are happening to girls are not like the changes happening to boys. These changes also occur at the same time in all people because there are different assigned time for each individual to start developing. The next change is the emotional change wherein changes in here occurs because of relationships of an individual to another may it be a family member, friend, teacher or classmate. The next change that we have discussed is the intellectual change wherein I found out that girls develop first from boys when it comes intellectual tests but still boys are still the one on top when it comes to mathematical problems because as Ms. Giron said, girls usually sticks to the formula given to them to get the answer but boys find their own ways on how to get the answer on a particular question if they don't know the right formula. Well from these things that we have discussed, my mind is still being develop and the questions in my mind is being cleared. I know that these things that are happening is our own TRANSFORMATION...
